A Wicked Husband Chapter 53 Discussion

Honestly... had low expectations but was done surprisingly well. Usually these types of novels love to see the FML’s grovel in misery but theres a nice balance between angst and light-heartedness.

The FML has a terrible family, but was lucky enough to be surrounded by kind people such as the ML’s entourage growing up.

However, the ML has intense red flags waving over his head but in a sense that his obsession for the FML to become his overtakes his desire to treat her delicately. Though he still treats her with respect and reassures her insecurities, he weaponizes those insecurities to make her fully reliant on him (thus: red flags)

FML is a known genius with overflowing potential but is bonded by familial duty and low self esteem inflicted during childhood. However, she reaches for growth as chapters go by.

All in all, the novel has great potential and isn’t just a morbid sack of misery that makes you want to claw your hair out.
