Overrated. While I had fun reading it, its the obvious talented MC and ML who seems to be the the prettiest thing in the world (every chinese novel does this lol, male or female) who can basically win and beat any kind of obstacle. While the face slapping isnt overtly blatant, the writing makes it look better than a general face slapping because of the layered set up. The main thing that this novel has going for it is the realism (aside from well you know, the rebirth and unnaturally good memory), slightly smarter than 1-D side characters and better than average writing. When stories are obvious with what they are trying to do it can get boring fast if it hasnt interested the reader enough. What kept me reading is trying to see where the MC will go.Anyways great time killer.
