I feel most sorry for Makito. Yui always cries - she's such a baby. Makito's such a loveable pervert... how did she not notice something had changed when Makito saw her panties and didn't do his normal perverted action?!
When I saw that I was also a little shocked. I'm pretty interested in the development though, whether it's cliche or not.

Two people are in love.
Third one barges in and wants person 1 as well, so he tells person 2 that he and person 1 have hugged and kissed, so naturally person 2 is pissed as hell. Because person 2 thinks person 1 is in love with person 3, he probably wants to give up on person 1 and when he's been asked what he thinks of person 1, he lies and says he doesn't like her.
Well, truth to be told, I can understand Makito. Not only is he in love with a highschool girl, but she's also his employer, he doesn't know she loves him too AND Mr. Perfect has just popped out of nowhere telling him lies that make him believe she's in love with Ryan.
Of course, what he said was terrible and now Yui is badly hurt, but considering the situation, I think it's Makito who's suffering the most ... by far.

I really don't like that Ryan guy. And I'm almost willing to bet that he wants to make Yui fall in love so he can take over the curry shop. And now even Makito is making things worse. Of course, I understand where he comes from, but still...
Oh Koleare, it's nothing like that.
Ryan's just trying to get them to progress their relationship (Makito x Yui) by getting them to eventually admit or understand each others' feelings. He really has no interest in owning the curry shop and he isn't a bad guy. It's quite a cliche scenario (as Kennikitty has pointed out) but still gets me interested...
