I don't know if it's just my current mood, but I ended up finding the novel a bit boring after a while. Maybe it's because there's so much going on? Like the focus seems to be in external conflicts, while the internal conflicts and character developments are delayed again and again DX One thing's for sure, if you're looking to read this for the survival aspects, it's best not. This is definitely more focused on conflicts with other survivors and other special circumstances.SUMMARY: The main premise of the novel is that you have the MC (Ruan Ning) transmigratting inside of the zombie apocalypse novel that she had just finished reading. She's not particularly impressive as a character, but she's definitely somewhat Mary-Sue-like. Part of why I got bored may be because of her character. It's just a bit too reactive? I mean, I should have expected it from the title -- that is, this is the story of a "pampered cannon fodder" not the impressive female protagonist who kicks ass XD As for the ML, I was interested in him at first, but soon his entire character seemed to become "obsessed with his pseudo-younger sister" so I got over it quickly. All in all, I guess it just ended up not being my kind of novel. I still read quite a bit though! Even more than half! For that reason, and for the fact that the MTL is fairly comprehensible (80%), I will be given this novel a rating despite not finishing. For me, it was a relatively okay read. Not the best, but not bad either. I think, if you just want to turn your brian off and enjoy a BG novel where the FL goes through relatively unscathed, then this is not bad. For that reason, my rating for this is 3.45/5 stars! Just short of being able to round up to four stars lol.
