My Beloved Dog is the Strongest in Another World Chapter 80 Discussion

This novel is the very definition of slow paced. I made it through 80 chapters and perhaps a week or two has passed since he arrived in the world. Most chapters are individual parts of a conversation, and the conversation itself can be up to four chapters long.

While things do happen, the vast majority of the experience is exposition.

The updates are consistent, and the translation doesn't have any major flaws that I noticed, but that almost makes it worse. I mean people are putting effort into a novel where nothing happens when other novels are waiting on proper translation.

If you're looking for a cute dog/wolf novel, like I was, I can't recommend this over the one where MC is isekai'd as a fenrir or even something where it plays a smaller role like Strongest Magician becomes a Guard. A youtuber I like once said the line "I can only recommend it as a sleep aid" and I would like to echo that sentiment here.
