Nice through adventure. The lead is not infallible and tries to stay on the down low as to not stick out. She makes different decisions and treasures her life. It obviously effects those around her and she takes a lot of that into account. Thoughtful and interesting all the way through there are a lot of relationships and side characters that also affect the main lead. You end up cheering her all the way. My favorite thing though would be all the work the translator xin-shou (noob translator) has added in videos and foot notes to enhance the reading experience. There are a ton of references and material that has been presented to the reader that is utterly delightful. Even the translator notes at the end of each chapter discussing the chapter, memes on how the translator feels about what's going on in book or just the latest song that the translator is enjoying. I appreciate all of it! 💙
