I love Yuxi. Simply the best female lead I have ever read about. You can see she is growing step by step and her strength is real. She becomes so OP towards the end and it is all due to her hard work. The ML is ok, but the main villain (Yan Wushuang) is so much more interesting than him. Even though they both pop up later in the story, I loved to read about the villain more than the ML. The extras are also good as they are realistic. Spoiler
Just don't get too attached to her eldest son as his sons end up killing one another.
[collapse] I think my favorite extra was about her uncle (Ning Hai). He is also one of my favorite characters, although he pops up later as well but his story is so engaging and I would recommend reading that one out of all the others.
