Neither excellent nor bad. Nothing new here. MC being "nice" doesn't bother me after reading several slap-in-the-face novels, it was kind of refreshing to see an MC who isn't actually calculating.That said, straight shou/uke is really tiring because of how predictable it can be, of what will happen at some point in the story. Sorry, but after 1000 novels with ML and MC in the "chase and run" dynamic, it's a dynamic that made me tired of the story. But it's a good read to pass the time.
