Same as everyone else, I read this knowing that it had the tragedy tag attached to it but my curiosity was great and I went in mentally prepared for the angst. Maybe because of that I couldn't fully enjoy the novel and felt I was watching a ticking time bomb and was helpless to stop it until it blew up in my face. Regardless I enjoyed it and hope the couple would be able to meet in another life and that xiaomei is able to find happiness.
