So I'm going to start this off with me saying that I don't actually like this book. This book is very slow but detailed, there is a lot of time spent where the main character just follows steps in making a potion or goes to class over and over again. If this isn't your style then you won't enjoy this book. At least for me personally I don't like this style but I still enjoy it but what made me dislike this series was just how much of the core plot was stolen, with how much is taken from harry potter, pokemon, etc. and how these parts are from whatever keeps getting referenced breaks my immersion in the story and this just ended up being the final nail in the coffin for me to drop it since I already don't like how slow paced it is.The story has a decent amount of originality with the 7 sins and how he needs to resist letting them grow but this concept was basically dropped as soon as he produced [Pride I] and it just became how he could use the sins. I think the story would have been a lot more entertaining and enjoyable if it focused on the seven sins and kept putting him in situations where they would risk rising, something like the seven sins each have an attraction (i.e. gluttony improves smell so good food seems more appetizing, lust makes him more attractive, ect.) and then have situations where he needs to resist those sins... With how its currently set up its just overall boring and the entire world building honestly makes no sense to me, it feels like the author took a bunch of there favorite stories/games and just threw them in a pot. Overall, at least personally I don't enjoy this story but I think its well written and if you like slow novels and don't mind "this is from harry potter, this is from pokemon" then this story would be good.
