I mean the storyline seems great... Others already said a lot of good and bad things so I wont dwell on those. I do have a slight (or major) complaint about him Spoiler
actually stealing jewels
[collapse]Kaitou kid's one of the major charm is that he is not a hero, anti-hero or villain... he is just a magician entertaining people while also trying to find the jewel he is looking for (and not for selfish reason either) Here the MC comes off someone who has most of kid's charm but also Spoileractually steals jewel (does not give it back) is not afraid to kill on rare occasions (I mean it's a CN novel so of course the protagonist has to be selfish)... So the MC is basically an anti hero here
[collapse]... If you dont mind this setback, loves Kaitou kid, a decent world building, and no harem, this is the perfect story for you
