One of the best crime investigation novels out there.. I have to say that this story is a rare masterpiece with perfection. The cases that the police investigate, the main characters, the side characters.. Everything was so good.. I specially liked the character Lin Xinglan, the best father.. Speaking of the cases, each and every case was very detailed and no any doubt after solving them. The author had given everything up to detail and I really appreciate the effort of the author when explaining everything related to the cases, either the medical terms or the situation. Also, I really loved the relationship between the two main characters, Captain Gu and medical examiner Shen. They had such an understanding and loving bond which is very heartwarming. They share a very healthy and mature relationship without any unnecessary drama.. Overall, story had a good flow.A big thank for the author as well as the translator for bringing this story to us.Highly recommended!
