novels that read like journals/diaries are my pleasure, so this novel has been pretty fun to read. Its very light and shouldnt be taken too seriously (another review compared it more to a snack than a meal, which is accurate).the author is definitely an overworked office worker with a video game addiction as their outlet and was inspired by sao to vent their emotions. Its hilarious and quite accurate as to how a video game addiction can develop as an adult, because playing games and turning off your brain is much easier than using your brain to read or work more outside of work hours.with that said, I hate snipers! Theyre the most annoying type to play with on a team and against as an enemy! But since this is a novel and its entertaining to boot, i'll let it pass.
