I LOVE THIS NOVEL SO MUCH.Firstly, the premise is very unique to the usual web-novels. You have a gender-bending FMC, who is a notorious pirate captain wanted by the empire and an eccentric and intelligent admiral as the ML, with most of the novel set on the open ocean.The characters and the relationships between them are brilliantly developed. All of the main characters feel like real people. They have their own dreams and motivations and you can see how this effects their interactions with each other. The character development is slow yet satisfying, with a carefully thought out plot line that allows the reader to see the gradual change in the characters' mindsets.As an added bonus, it's somewhat of an enemies to lovers situation, and the angsty slowburn is sooo worth it.Also the translation is great. It's clear that the translators have meticulously considered all their translation choices and go above and beyond what's expected to explain the nautical references in the novel to help the readers!
