Not good, not bad. The usual. A problem I have with this novel is that when reading these kind genre or story, we usually are hyped for the revenge again the Hero and his party. The problem is that the volumes are too short. And that the author immediately describe the climax scene in the description, raising our expectation of that sweet sweet scene of revenge, but take a long time to reach that point. By the time we actually reach it, the feeling is already gone. Since, even without reaching that point, the author already spoilt it for us.The chars are, ok I guess. Nothing noteworthy. You got your usual cliches of arrogant hero, corrupt nobles, s*upid childhood friend, etc. MC is also meh. I like his take on revenge, which is living his life to the fullest, to show that what the hero party said about him was a mistake. But that's all. There is nothing really different from your run of the mil MCs in these kind of genres. Anyways, this is a light hearted novel, so dont go in expecting tension and seriousness. Good time killer, but very2 short.
