She (Yuri) quite literally wakes up one day on a magical island where she resides alone and eventually levels up to be very strong as she navigates the island. It's very reminiscent of a video game since she has quests to complete and she can gain more skills the more she levels up. She only realizes that she's in a book when she finds the ML (Rael) stranded on her island as well. We also find out later in the story that Rael can also see these game windows and that he also has quests to complete. Chapter 38-39 is where we get the synopsis.
I'm actually hoping we get to see more of their interactions on the island for a while since we now know that Rael can also see the game windows (and evidently Yuri's thoughts as well). He's already quite attached to Yuri and Yuri is somewhat aware of it—she's just not sure to what extent and she's desperately hoping that it doesn't turn into obsession. Although, I have a sneaking suspicion that they won't be the only two on the island anymore since Yuri gained an item that can summon a person to them.
