Five stars without a doubt if you like historical Chinese novels. There is not much intrigue in the first chapters since the MC is very overpowered. However, what sells this novel the most is not political intrigue, but the Husband-Wife relationship. It's so sweet that I have a toothache.Also, the novel doesn't dragon out the Wife's recovery. It happens relatively soon, before 100 chapters. (Not saying the exact number to keep you intrigued.) In short, it is worthy of giving it a try. Read the first ten chapters and decide for yourself.
