the beginning, which held promise only kind of gets worse. It devolves into world war I industrialization and the payoff ending is rough given the slog to read through it.the character relationships at the beginning are definitely interesting, but there are similar tropes in this type of story. It's a fun genre, so if you like this sort of webnovel the first 50 chapters are ok. But past that it's not as fun. Reminds me of the human emperor. Past ch. 50, I don't recommend it.
