So, I didn't mind the reiterations of the author. Neither did I mind the "Mary Sue" concept. I also didn't mind the plots being repetitive and kinda slow. The premise of the novel is in fact interesting and I enjoy what it could have been. Rewriting the wrongs done to others is in fact a lovely and interesting concept. I also enjoy the multiple POVs.

However, Spoiler

Why did the original Murong Jing have to die. The State could do nothing for her and even the heavenly Dao did nothing for her. She pleaded with them to save her life, she even went to the police to report the 1st time she was able to gain control of her body, but no one believed her. Now she died just like that. With the MC's omniscient view, why couldn't she see that the original Murong Jing was being suppressed and find a way to save her?

To me, this defeats the purpose of the story - helping Cannon fodder rewrite wrongs done to them-, hence my 3 stars rating. And because of this part, I can't even continue reading anymore. The feeling and enjoyment is ruined. 😔
