It's not bad but I don't think it deserves such a high rating, either.The MC feels like a Gary Stu to me. Although he's poor in the beginning, everything after that is smooth sailing. It might be because he's hardworking but a few bumps on the road would make it more realistic.I don't understand how the ML accomplished all those things at such a young age. It makes me confused and puts me off. It makes me feel like a 13 year old Wattpad author wrote his character. And I'm still not sure how he started liking the MC. Spoiler
And the fact that he was the MC's teacher? They might be close in age but I don'tlike the power dynamic. Normally, this wouldn't bother me, however, the MC literally had nothing. He was homeless, penniless and I feel like he just felt a sense of dependence after the ML saved him.
