Same old, same old. MC starts out strong and we think that she will be different but nope, she eventually succumbs to plot power and ends up with scumbag she wanted to avoid in the first place. So all the pain and ab*se and indifference and abandonment of herself and her child (pre transmigration) is forgiven because (insert sob story here) I skipped on over to the end and he gets the throne, she ends up empress and the concubines are just background props. I was voting for Murong Yining (4th prince) to be ML... but noooo, she stays with scummy hubby. Exit stage left!
