This novel relies mostly in characterization and cute, warm moments. It is a slow burn that carefully unravels a bit of MC's past as she grows attached to her new family, including father and brother, husband and specially the children, who are very intelligent for their age and a bit naughty. Author is in no rush to develop the characters, and this care and love for detail makes them memorable. That's as far as it goes for now. The novel is paced awkwardly, in 121 chapters, many events occur but in actuality only a few days appear to have passed. I say awkward because the way things flow seem so natural at first, only for a line such as "when they met 3 days ago" to pop up, and the reader suddenly realizes how much occured but it's been only 3 days. This messes up the carefully constructed character building.Events are forced. Either the author throws a life-threatening menace to MC, or she happens to be there when someone is going through a major event and, being nosy, she gets involved. In those scenes, author makes everyone around MC act insufferable and create as big of a fuss as humanly possible, while keeping MC cool headed. This contrast only makes the scenes more ridiculous, and suspension of disbelief is made a necessity. The way author paced this and how they forced every scene makes me stop here.
