Omygerd. I rarely really give ratings and comments for any novels I'm reading but this one I really can't leave without.Both the ML and FL are very much relatable and both are jot very OP. I like it so much and very refreshing in terms with other stories with similar plots.What I like the most is that, although it's portrayed that rhey both have skills and talents they are not sooo OP that they could always make the situation exactly the way they want it to be.For instance:Spoiler
-when FL doesn't really want their relationship to be known so she can still have a way to get out of the ML's mansion when the timr comes
-or when xiaobao was kidnapped and FL went out to get him even though ML already told her that he will take care of it.
-or when ML wanted to divorce the main wife but the emperor did not agree
-on this last chap that I read, although they thought FL is a bit s*upid or "simple minded" she still thinking about the situation.
[collapse]Ahhh... And the bits and pieces will make you think hard too. Like you are there with them trying to make sense of the situation and looking for ways to solve the problem.I also really really like the couples dynamics. Since this is acient times most of the time FL is dominated by the ML. But you can see that as long as she feels safe and all her and her children's needs are met then she doesn't mind.Many thanks to the translator! I really appreciate the twice a week update too!
