Rating this book is somewhat hard. Story wise, in terms of plot, it's branching and general stuff like sequencing or flow it's actually pretty good story. To a point where I could almost call it "real" literature, not just web novel -tier stuff. But as you can probably see from the score, that's not how it ends up being for me.As for rating the usual building blocks (levels of world building, characters & their growth.. Etc.) I'm not that interested. But here's something that's caught my attention:I don't really know if its due to something being lost in the translation, which is basically edited MTL that already makes it very 'stale' in terms of readability, or something else (which I myself believe to be more correct), such as some quirk of the author, but the story is very.. Weird and illogical on certain parts. Both may be part of the reason, I suppose.Thinking back, it's not even the big things that bother me. It's just that there are like thousands of small things that are really odd and inconsistent to already established tone and traits of the book (more specifically the characters, their actions and reactions to stimuli). I would say these are MOSTLY things that are masked as being part of the humor in the book, but are really just unnatural and off putting. Best I can describe it is that for me it feels like there was something in the book, but it got removed and replaced by something else that didn't quite fit as well.Trying to put this rating into words turned out to be a lot harder task than I initially though so I'm just going to stop here lol. In the end I gave it a fair 3 stars, which in my books is quantified as "worthy of reading" so that's where we'll land. Give it a go and see how you feel.
