I’m loving this story so far. It lured me into thinking it was going to be a Mary Sue, “doin’ cute stuff with friends and bringing technology to the masses” isekai but it’s actually a pretty heavy and *dark* commentary about racism, government oversight, and the harsh reality of what women had to deal with in more medieval settings but wrapped up in a kind of nervously joking “let’s just pretend we’ll be okay” tone. The MC is a girl with only her wits (as naive as they are many a time; I would’ve kept ⅔ of those inventions to myself, frankly) and no magic powers, so really what else can she do but chuckle awkwardly, pretend something didn’t happen, and move on? Sure, she ignores stuff she shouldn’t but at the same time... hardly anyone listens to a powerless little girl anyway in this story or in reality, so she just has to try and make the best of it.

(Seriously tho, if you wanna be isekai’d as a baby in a sword & sorcery world, you better hope you’re reborn as a boy because your options as a girl would usually be married-to-your-village-neighbor babymaker, pricy nobility babymaker with a dowry, concubine babymaker, or comfort wench who probably dies of disease if you make it past your teens anyway. I like fluffy slice of life stories as well, but one does have to ignore quite a lot of obvious historical social norms to enjoy them.)
