The story is nice, if a bit sad. People complain about the world-building but *it's fantasy* anything goes you know? And I'd much rather read a new take on a fantasy world than tolkienworld (JP edition) no.18992 where the elves are pretty the dwarves like beer and MC likes s*aves. That said it does strain credulity a bit, just the sheer amount of sh*t the MC does before she's even 10 years old is absurd. It's obvious the author wants the main character to be doing *important things* but wants her to be young too. I mean she's 8 months old when she first introduces new tech to her peasant village which is ridiculous. But other than the fixation on cramming decades of life experience into as short a time as possible I don't have many complaints - the setting is interesting and unique and despite what some of these other reviews say, pretty internally consistent and believable. All in all a good read - just wish there was more!
