The main point of this novel is not the romance, not the MC and ML relationship, not face slapping, not familial status, not money making business, not survival.It's all about RESEARCH, medicine/biological/pathology/any field related to disease and finding new vaccine or cure for diseases.I dont understand the world of researcher for medicinal/pharmacist/doctor but I'm eyed-rolling of how easy a cure or vaccine to be found and developed. But, we're in this covid era and I could count how many days and months needed to announce a vaccine has been found.As for how MC too damn patriotic *shrug* Let's not forgetting, it's PRC. Hey, I'm pretty sure any author will also be like this with their own country. And I'm totally confused of how the time line worked for MC.However, the author was good in writing new conflicts and characters to make us stay to read and to be curious of what MC and his team would do. It's really good reading imo.
