It pretty drastic novel with lots of plot twists and some very real problems example - Marriage, adoption, death, depression, etc.

Overall the novel is good and worth reading.

Spoiler

well before I start writing the spoilers I want to clear out that many things are going on, so it might be a bit confusing.

The female lead in this novel, in a previous life /novel, was overly misunderstood, and in her current life she's trying her best to be overly nice, she purposely created a bit of a misleading situation, especially with the adopted family, but before she gets political married to OGML she tries to clear out things.

She clears out the stuff with the adopted family, from the beginning she doesn't like to legally get adopted into them but she considers them as her biological parents, turns out that her adoptive parents were feeding her pills which had bad side effects, to maintain her beauty.

Even after trying her best to change the original plot she still gets into a political marriage with the main lead I mean the original ML Duke when she enters the Duke's house/Castle, she realizes who was the main cause of the problems in the original person whom she possessed.

This maid Rosa (She is also a spy of CP) hates the female lead and keeps on trying to spoil things by almost harming FL, but the family (her brother who is a bit yandere) somehow manages to make things right.

Slowly the castle servants, the maids, the knights, and the butler start liking her and she starts improving the situation in the North because the whole area of the North seems to be not maintained.

ML is not a bad person as he was shown in the original novel it turns out to be that he trusted his servants and people more than the FL which caused more problems in the original novel.

The ML didn't have any plans to divorce and keep acting like the original female lead is a mistress, she's a very annoying person but she's a good person in fact in the future she helps the female lead recover.

The villain of the story is the Crown Prince and the emperor they were a villain in both the novels but in the original, they did not interfere, in the current, they had to interfere because the Duke area started developing and CP's jealousy had no bounds he tried to ruin the relationship of the main characters but somehow they manage to escape from the Crown Prince and it was a downfall of Crown Prince too.
