I Became the Leader of the Monster Circus Troupe Chapter 209 Discussion

For the first 130 chapters or so, I'd say it's worth 5 stars. You got a possesor with a creepy power, lots of tragedies caused in the past by the original Wonderstein and a cast of characters with various traumas caused by him. MC struggles to get close to the circus troupe and various other important characters while solving different problems from the original story.

Once we get to the academy arc, however, the writing takes a SHARP dive. The plot gets utterly nonsensical, side characters become your average two dimensional harem members in a shounen manga and even the various confrontations feel like some kindergarten bs.

The novel drops to a 2/5 after that and it doesn't seem to rise back up.
