This novel is very interesting. Theres a lot to cover but as one of its main strengths are its mysteries, I'll try to keep it spoiler free.The novel is an industrial revolution world with a soft magic system that is supported by a eldritch cosmology.The nature of the world means that the system owned by the MC and his previous life fully belongs within the logic of the world itself rather than being an enigmatic outside thing that is an advantage over others. To this effect, the power system is soft but also well executed.Inspiras are essentially contractual superpowers for entertainers who use it to their advantage in daily life and their work, but is fully useable for combat and this applies to other professions too who have their own equivalent to inspiras.The coolest one so far has been the spies and informants contracted with a certain deity of rumours who has the ability to self delete their name to temporarily return their existence into the sea of information, only to recover to existence by having their names be called by a trusted person.The abilities are used cleverly and with much creativity and the plot is full of intrigue and politics. Plus, the novel is educational in regards to the entertainment industry and the history of the circus and even operas, and the relationship of street performers and businessmen.Theres also a lot of modern day societal issues being discussed a lot of whats happening on earth continues to be relevant in this world due to certain reasons in a later arc.So far... its incredible.
