I started with low expectation because of the smut but halfway through arc 2, I was suprised to find that this novel actually has pretty good plot!I would say that arc 1 is like delicious appetizer. It's short and steamy and makes you want more. Then you keep reading and reading because the plot is developing and it's getting more interesting. My favorite is the Demon arc.Warning: Arc 4 (Scheming President...) is quite dark.Update: Unfortunately number of chapter per arc is steadily increasing. The newer arc is longer than the previous one and it's getting draggy.I will drop this novel after the current arc (Female Emperor) ends and maybe wait for a year or more before I read it again.
