Decent short read! I feel some of these comments are too focused on gender equality and feudalistic vs modern issues. All of these are just my opinion and everyone has different tastes! This story is short enough to risk it though.*ML was the perfect example of good guy nurturing harm. One can be filial and loyal without being a doormat. He was a doormat. I do like how he’s honest and unashamed about how much of a woodblock he is. Super pestering? Yes, but he wouldn't have been able to get his family back otherwise. The MC was too strong and had no affection for him. The story simply wouldn't have made sense unless he was a sticky slug.*MC is extremely grounded in reality. She’s not a great beauty or have special transmigration cheats. She doesn’t put herself down over it. She’s just logical.*The ending felt kinda rushed and I wish there was more payback to her in-laws, but peace is important I guess.
