A good short read! In fact I think it is good that it isn’t draggy. All the problems are solved quickly and there aren’t any boring moments.Basically a slice of life story about a transmigrated lady surviving in ancient China. She is not OP and the only merit is that she is strong due to firefighting training but not supernatural strong.The main plotline is her meeting the exhusband who turned out to be still alive and he pursues her.While others might think he’s chauvinistic, I think he is a product of children born in the generation and era. Filial piety is VERY important then and still is in certain countries right now too. It is a struggle faced by every Asian kid tbh. Even now. So I get his troubles. He is also people pleasing cause of how he was raised by his family. I like that FL makes him think about his circumstances and he’s willing to change for FL.I like that FL doesn’t immediately strive for success and suddenly becomes a Noble family etc but their entire family is still humble.Great short read.
