I read translator's chapters 1-3, then MTL to chapter 65.FL was an Empress who died in childbirth after her family fell from power. She is reborn 3 years later into the body of a young girl about to enter the Imperial harem draft. She decides to go, so that she can protect her 3 year old son in the palace. Interestingly, while she has a different name, she has the exact same face as when she was 16 years old in her previous life. From what I understand, the Spoiler
ML Emperor was always faithful, and he fell in love with her later on in their marriage. In her new life, when they sleep in the same room, they share the same dream of their past, but from both of their perspectives at the time, which resolves their misunderstandings. There is a doozy of a secret involving her family's fall from power that is explained around chapter 65.
[collapse]If you like historical novels by authors Qian Shan Cha Ke (Rebirth of the Malicious Empress of Military Lineage, Rebirth of a Star General, etc.), Butterfly's Shadow Beneath The Moon (Eight Treasure Trousseau, To Be A Virtuous Wife, I Am This Type of Woman, etc.,) or Mask Feast (Counterattack of the Cannon Fodder Chambermaid, etc.), you'll probably like this one. Unlike the cover, it's not a fluffy face-slapping kind of story, but a thoughtful, detailed, rebirth story. Also, the translation is excellent. I'll update this review when more chapters are out.
