in principle, the novel is quite decent. It has its shortcomings, deficiencies and exaggerations. The horror level is quite low (although for some it may be perceived as average level). Unfortunately, I didn't even get chills and it doesn't even come close to e.g. "Welcome to the nightmare Live". The monster stories are good and worth reading. There is a romance, but it didn't captivate me. The main characters are okay, the secondary ones are nicely outlined. Unfortunately, something (or rather many somethings) was missing for me.
