Exciting banter and interesting mysteries. Some of the imagery has kept me up at night, but that's what makes them great. The author does great character work with the NPCs in my opinion, they're all incredibly interesting and unnerving.Props to the translator for their amazing translation and research skills too!The ML is the protective responsible type that I rarely see. The MC is a whole bag of mysteries that I applaud him for taking on.
