At first, I felt really sorry for the MC (Sugimoto Kazuya), but then my sympathy shifted to the ML (Keiichi Miura). Sure, the ML did some pretty questionable things, but the MC wasn't exactly a saint either. It's interesting because they both end up being victims and aggressors in their own ways.
