This novel is like Titanic, but there is no Jack and Rose and the main protagonists are the ship and the iceberg. At least the first half.Fang Huan starts out like an exposed nerve that will react violently to the slightest touch. But he is also very kind, empathetic, vibrant and full of life.Zhou Weiying - a callous workaholic who looks down on anyone who doesn't "know their place". But also mature, stable, capable and loyal. They both wear away/heal each other's problems while polishing their own strengths.I enjoyed seeing them change. The way the story is written, it made me feel like they are indeed very suited to each other. I can't even explain it.I think the novel's weakest point is the online drama with the other beauty blogger. I don't think every showbiz novel needs the "famous people are catfighting each other while the netizens verbally ab*se MC before getting face-slapped" plot. This novel would have been better without it, IMO. I know that having setbacks is realistic. But what is the point of realism when 1000 novels use the same "realistic" plot? There could have been better setbacks.Still, this one small thing doesn't lessen my enjoyment of this novel by much. A 4.5 rounded up, because I usually round up.
