Doomsday Divine Seed Cultivator Chapter 243 Discussion

what I don't like:

• There is no woman in MC's team. In this story woman is portrayed as weak character, foolish character, or brainless villainess with tragic ending. (Except ML's mother but technically she isn't a team member and her appearance is minimal).
• They "abandon" District D and choose not help them in power conflict. I didn't expect it, after satisfying plot about MC's team help District D and built it better. I though they will live there. But of course no bcs technically MC is like wood ancestor tree so he live with ML in "wood spirit race only" territory.
• The author make Bai Xun act like a villain. I sad and mad read this part story. I feel betrayed. This part make me drop this story. What I read from his characterization is he only want to be called as ML's family member and be called important. But he can't get it bcs ML's family isn't human. They never communicate about it. I can't read the conclusion bcs I'm not ready with what will happen to Bai Xun
• The plot story when MC don't care about other country in earth. Yeah I know is justified bcs there isn't any communication or transportation tool. But his monologue make me sad. It's like the only human deserve to be saved from alien is in his country.

What I like:

• The story is engaging and make me want to finish in one go (except ending part).
• Guan Ling first appearance is funny, too bad after that he don't act much like that again (in some plot he only appear as killing machine in 1 or 2 sentences)
• Guan Ling's true background is surprising. I didn't expect it at all.
• MC's friend Hua Cheng and Shen Ze. Technically they like MC romantically but ofc they are only become friend. I like their characterization, especially Hua Cheng. He can be a protagonist in other story.
• Xun Ye, this genius child. Honestly, I like him better than MC. If only Xun Ye is an adult and selected as chosen one, he will be a very OP character and a protagonist.

What make me drop this story:

• MC and ML said they won't take part in power conflict. They move out from District D to the sky. They said it many times. They don't want to back to District D or help Bai Xun (I mad at ML's respond, I don't understand, Bai Xun and Lu Di are his subordinate but what ML do is so different to them. What Bai Xun do for ML in Jinling city is very good. He help ML collect supply and magic crystal, he control big organization, and help MC's team go to district D safely. He is best secretary and right hand man ML can get. But for ML, Bai Xun is forever an outsider (not even friend). If only Bai Xun with ML since the start apocalypse and share live or die with them, maybe he can get proper recognition from ML.
• After all of that aspect that make me some kind of mad, MC promise Shen Ze he will down 3 days. Wth?. He goes to Hua Cheng. Wth?. He asks Hua Cheng what he wants, ofc the answer is a political. And then, he gives Hua Cheng the weapons. Not only weapon but also the seed (literally upgraded weapon). That means, Hua Cheng have many weapon from this. Wth, why help him? It's like MC cancel his word and take part in power struggle (for me giving weapon is like giving a cheat. I expect MC like cultivator ascending who will cut their relation with lower realm).
