honestly, the writing is mediocre and there is a lot of Mary Sue energy going around. But, I still enjoyed the story overall.PROS
- cool sense of mystery. Feels like you are watching an escape room puzzle.
- decent world building. It helps that everything takes place on a mysterious remote island.
- cool protagonist. She is like Boy Scout on steroids, in a good way.
- devoted ML's, if you're into that.
- it makes sense why people would fall in love with MC. I would too.
- dialogue can be childish and repetitive. There's a lot of "oh wow MC is so pretty/smart/important!"
- there is a lot of repetitive, poorly written jealousy between different male leads, played for laughs. I find that a bit cliched.
- assumed consent: ML's will encroach upon MC's physical space without really asking her? They keep piling on their affection even though she has barely returned any of it to any of them beyond basic civility. This would be really annoying, rude, and overbearing in real life. Its not romantic or cute for someone to force stuff on you, even if that someone is hot.
