This is grueling....Hear me out. This story is about an abyss dragon who wakes up as a human. Now you would think a dragon, wise and age old, would be smart, and witty. That the mystery behind his human form would be interesting and shocking.... and you'd be terribly wrong. I won't spoil you the mystery behind all this, but I found the interactions between the characters very, very hollow. There is no complexity, most characters love the MC who is childish, very plain, and op as heck.Keep in mind this is just my opinion but that makes for a very boring character to me.I want to thank the translator though, because I do appreciate their hard work and I do see where other people can get enjoyment out of this story.... just... not me.I am dragging myself through this thing chapter by chapter at this point because it's so God. Damn. Boring. And before you ask me, "Why aren't you just reading something else?" No. I refuse! I rarely come across yandere dragon stories. I love dragons, I love the concept of giant majestic lizards and their piles of gold. Now onto the part you want to know: is the ML yandere? Yes. Yes he is.Does he also have the emotional complexity of a cardboard box? Yes. A soggy wet cardboard box. What about the MC? He's an op child. Literally, nothing is a challenge. Nothing in his life. You could argue with me and say "what about his estrus? What about him still being a human and not a dragon?" Buddy, the human dragon has spent the last 3 chapters eating chocolate parfaits and not realizing he is currently dating the ml. Idk what to tell u. He'll be fine. The plot won't allow him any discomfort.I -will- finish this story, out of integrity to my profession but this is by no means a good yandere story. This is just a soggy piece of cardboard presented like a chocolate parfait. I am so sick of this book when will it end???
