I don't know where to start! Definitely one of my top reads of the year. Cute, sweet and funny, what more could you possibly want?Well this book has all that and more. Evident from the fact that this is the only danmei I've mtl'd because I just had to know how it ended and the only book which has prompted me to write a review. Yeah, it's that good.The story's pretty straightforward, Shi An (originally the abyss dragon) goes to sleep and wakes up one day thousand years later to find that he's turned into a human and even worse, his treassure's gone. Now, he's not gonna let that slide, he's gonna take back all his treassure, regain his power, go back to the abyss and sleep for another millenia or so. Oh! He also wants to add a shiny human to his collection but apparently he's a powerful mage and the last dragon slayer in the world??So ensues the chaotic but cute love story of a proud dragon with an icecream obsession and a cold dragon slayer with a dragon obsession (in more ways than one) I loved the writing, the author knows when to use humour and when to play it serious, without it being repetitive or boring.And although the story is mainly focused on the MC and ml, the side characters also shine and are funny af, especially the demon minion trio.I think the transalator did an amazing job at getting the element of humour across a different language and with the dialogue.Overall, it was a great read and I definitely recommend it.
