- A sweet short read with quite a nice coherent storyline
- Main CP are basically starcrossed lovers and when they first navigate their respective (antagonistic instincts) and catch feels it’s really fun and fluffy. In the later chapters their relationship actually faces some genuine adversity (MC being a monster and all) and it’s nice that this conflict was used to really affirm their commitment to each other. The later chapters end up feeling quite romantic which is surprising for this kind of novel TBH and I was left feeling they actually really liked each other and didn’t just incidentally end up in a relo with no real feeling of choice/agency (which does tend to feel the way for some quick and dirty BL novels
