I just read the latest chapter and I got just really rage induced to the point that I needed to ramble about it

So is this story good? Well, yes it is. But not that good. Honestly for me this story would at really best be either in 10th place or lower, with the three bests, for me, being "summoned slaughterer", "Running away from the hero", and "lv.2 strongest laid back life" (not exactly is this order)

And these three stories get one thing right, each character personalities are good for each character, the characters that you're supposed to like you like, the ones you're supposed to hate you hate, and so on. But this story, manages to make characters like the protagonist difficult to like

And here is one of the reasons why:

*spoiler alert*

around chapter 36 or so if I'm not wrong, Regena will be captured by the hero's harem, and when her family asks Kuroki to save, he ask for everyone to leave the room, and he started to think on whether or not he should save her. Like... Why??? If someone is in need of help you don't question yourself whether you should or not help that person. What he did in that chapter literally felt like he said this: "Oh! This person that works for me just got kidnapped, but... Should I call the police? Or should just leave her to the kidnappers?"

And this story, you're supposed to hate the hero, but he never appears for you to actually hate him, you literally forget about his existence, while his harem start to do a lot of stuff that for sure you're going to hate them because they are literally trouble-makers, and especially Shirone, I can't even explain how you're going to hate her, because you will hate her in the end (just look at the editor notes in chapter 40, they're the best resume of what everyone feel about her)

While all the secondary characters are the ones that you'll like more, just because their personalities weren't messed up by the author (like the demon king, all the demons with names revealed, Regena, Kuroki's eventual waifu (she hasn't been worked a lot at the current chapter of this review))

*spoiler alert*

But in the end the protagonist Kuroki, is also kind of hated, because he's so indecisive in the worst ways, and because he's almost killed by his so called childhood friend (even though she didn't know it was him at the time) and he still worries about what she might think about him (this would be literally the last think a normal person would think about their friend that almost killed them intentionally) when he already got the perfect waifu, it's okay of him having a inferiority complex but those two above unacceptable

And basically this is what I have to ramble about, the story has potential, but the main characters kill it so good that it hurts
