in terms of story this is well paced and well written in terms of grammar it's mid like yeah sometimes it feels like mtl but really only the beginning and gets better, I've read a lot of complaints about the characters and how dumb they can be but really if you just read the story you get more of their perspective the gods didn't lie to them, the humans did since they themselves are human they believe the humans to be telling the truth. As for the MC he lacks self-confidence, witch he gains through his adventures ig or more like he sees strength, he judges strength, he knows he has strength but he doesn't feel the need to exert it like the hero does cuz to the MC just wants to be happy lol the best example of this is literally the very beginning he was unhappy because he lost he was unhappy because she told him to give up he was unhappy with her when she left he was sad sure but he dedicated himself to training he became strong and he keeps training and when he gets a girl he's happy, as for his old friend he just wants her to be happy I mean who wouldn't want their friend to be happy even if you're not with your friend you still want your friend to be happy.
[collapse] (but ya she dumb as hell) A lot of the beginning volumes feel like setup but more like it's opening up to the world, they travel to different countries you learn the structure of their mythology I guess in terms of the community of the Gods. If you pay attention you can pick up on the lies the humans tell early on and then around volume eight they're finally confirmed well to the hero party at least the MC knew it long before.Okay last but not least if you don't like the hero that's cool he gets cuked by the MC 🤣🤣
