Clearing an Isekai with the Zero-Believers Goddess – The Weakest Mage among the Classmates (WN) Chapter afterword Discussion

Ayy! Nice novel. It has a bunch of cliches, but it isn't drowned by them. The characters can get kinda trope-y, but they're still memorable and interesting. There's also no s*upid catfighting or misunderstandings causing drama.

I really like the MC's relationships with his friends (note: not the heroines, but the dudes). My favorite bits were when he interacted with the Hero.

The non-MC POV chapters were done really well and showed how awesome Makoto is. The MC's fights/powers are also pretty creative imo throughout.

I also liked how MC's goddess wasn't just "a little girl" since some novels make the goddesss look AND act like immature children. MC's goddess wasn't a block of stone, but cute and possessing the vibes of an actual goddess.

I wouldn't say this is super spectacular and a deep read, but you can feel the effort the author put into writing and planning things out. The afterword shows some of the author's thoughts/work btw (full of important spoilers though), but I could tell from how things early on were important/connected to something later. There were holes, but the author acknowledged most of them lol and they weren't important imo.

I would read this if you want a decent isekai novel that isn't too dark/serious but a fun read. It's not a best of the best novel, but it's solid unlike many copy/paste isekai novels :/
