As expected from Martial Peak author, the writing style also similar. One thing is I feel like this time the author doesn't waste much time to write an exquisitive explanation.

There are few plot holes here and there. Not that I have high expectation in the beginning. The story up to 200+ can be said progressing slowly, but not that slow either. The big arc is still about the Secret realm battlefield.

Now let's talk about the character.

Lu Ye our MC, you can said that he is Yang Kai incarnation. With some exceptions like Lu Ye is more serious and indifferent person. While Yang Kai is more free spirited and well... shameless person. Both have thick mu*derous aura but Lu Ye can be said more extreme as it is shown in the story that he didn't even blink when slaying the fairer s*x. He will kill his enemies no matter the gender.

Although he is scary guy to his enemies, he is a sensible and responsible also caring to his friends and allies. He have many similarities with YK in this aspect.

If the romance or harem exist here, I just hope it won't be a useless decoration and plot device like Martial Peak. Until now the character close to LY is developing nicely including the harem candidate. I hope it will still be the same in the future.
