This is amazing! Finally an OI with some depth and a female lead that is intelligent and willing to take fate into her own hands. What a breath of fresh air. The characters are super well fleshed out, their actions make sense regarding their personalities and pasts (NO hand waiving BS and fake s*upidity or misunderstandings to drive the plot forward) Carynn's suffering is tangible and very realistic, the ML seems standard at first but really comes into his character through the story. The FL and ML are both badasses too, they come from radically different places emotionally and mentally but neither of them are afraid to act upon their own will.
