Bery says it's too hard to explain to naïve, innocent child MC about when kissing is appropriate and it talks about her body that's about to turn from "child to adult" despite MC still being a young child. MC IS 12 or 13 WHEN THE AUTHOR SAYS THIS ABOUT HER BODY:
"Krische has grown a bit too beautiful for such actions to be childish.
It might have been okay if she was still a child, but Krische is already becoming a beautiful woman.
When she and Bery, who also has very feminine curves and young, pretty looks, hug each other, it looks indecent."
[collapse]MC is highly dependent on Bery to guide her after MCs adoptive mother died. Bery should set a hard boundary and explain what age appropriate crushes are. Bery acknowledges MCs poor understanding of the world, realizes she needs to protect her and guide her morality because shes young and easily taken advantage of.SpoilerIn the scene above they're reading CHILDREN's books about relationships because that's MCs level of understanding. And somehow Bery decides she's no longer a child at 12/13?
[collapse] I don't understand how people are saying the romance is fluffy and giving it 5 stars when MC is being gr*omed by someone she relies on for guidance.Selene is weird too wtf does she mean "s*xual charm" MC is 12. Why would you want to put the 12 year old you swore to protect in a dress you think is sexy and take her to a banquet full of adults??? Everything about this novel is gross.Spoiler"The black-red dress has more exposure than the pale blue dress and it emphasises Krische's modest breasts, but the gap with her young appearance creates a s*xual charm.
Her young appearance and adult expression are both brought out well by the red in the black dress, making her look stylish and beautiful."
