The first few chapters were really boring that I almost dropped it. However, when the romance started to bloom, it gets interesting.

To be quite fair, the MCs were both flawed and it's vividly shown. Not hidden nor unmentioned. It's not like there's a text saying what's their imperfections, however, how they react and think were enough to see what are their flaws. Spoiler

For example, the FL was actually the one with more imperfections compared to the younger ML. She's not that mentally or emotionally strong. Her first action when confronted by problems was to run away and hide (an action which is closer to the reality). She's also not good in socializing or comforting people. Actually, to say that she's imperfect was true, but what I want to exactly say was she's real. Compared to some FL I've read which were (let's not mentioned the OP ones) kind, magnanimous, talented, etc., this story's FL was realistic. Because admit it or not, not all of us can ve strong willed and face our problem with bravery, sometimes we want to run away as well. We can also be selfish, awkward, and judge someone based from our first impression about them. The FL was real. Meanwhile, the ML was also someone who doesn't really pay attention to his surroundings, only to those who's really close to him. A little bit cold in nature but not disrespectful. Anyway, both of them are imperfect but they are growing up for the better and learning from their mistakes.

Nevertheless, I quite like the flawed FL. She's full of imperfections, but at same time, she has some strong points which can cover her flaws. Let's set aside her passion for music and beauty, she's decisive and rational. She can be mature and cute. I also like the wolf-pup ML who successfully brought his idol home. He's just too cute and sweet. The ML's dorm mates were also adorable and funny, what they did just to let the two of them took a graduation picture was just funny but sweet. How loyal. To be quite fair, I actually like a lot of characters here, there's not actually mang characters to hate. The ML's family were carefree and lovable. The FL's family were also like that. All the relevant characters are funny and outgoing, there's only one villain who's not even qualified to be called a villain. Spoiler

About Wei Di, well, I apologize. I thought she's a white lotus, but it turns out that she'll be the most misunderstood character here. It's quite a pity that her golden master wasn't mentioned until the end.

In short, the story is pretty much lighthearted (minus the mental health issues). It's a short but sweet fast read. Although there's some loose threads, it doesn't have much impact to the story anyway. The translation is very good so reading was more enjoyable. Overall, it's a 9.5/10 (the subtracted.5 was due to the slightly boring beginning)
